The ACCD's in each District are the Government officials responsible for the auditing and verification of accounting practices for the MPCS's, TCS's, FCS's and the Fishermen's Unions. Any body that operates upon the principles of cooperatives falls under the regulation of the ACCD. The Umbrella Project builds the capacity of the ACCD through the provision of training on new auditing and financial practices and equipment to increase the mobility and efficiency of the ACCD's staff.
